GPS POSITIONING

The Forest GPS satellite positioning is used for forestry management, pre-harvest inventory and planning. It also enables very accurate determining of land property borders, roads and ditches. The radio beacon enhanced GPS technology provides a position accuracy of less than one meter.

In stand marking for harvesting, inaccurate knowledge of areas can lead to large errors in volume estimation. With Savcor GPS technology you can make very accurate volume and price estimations. Also maps are readily produced for the contractor. The tender documents, forestry plans and completed tasks can be easily updated while surveying the land.
