CORONA^® BLEACHING CORROSION PREVENTION

Corona^® Bleaching Corrosion Prevention forms a thin, dense and adherent film on the metal surfaces of filters, drums, pipelines and storage tanks in bleaching plants. Unlike in the anodic prevention, the corrosion voltage potential of the drum and the vats is decreased into an immunity region where a stable oxide forms. Once established, very little current is required to maintain this protective layer. Cathodic protection prevents corrosion, no matter if it is general corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, pitting corrosion or galvanic corrosion and also less noble materials are required to manufacture the bleaching equipment resulting significant savings in the initial capital investment
